The journey
Neither expatriate nor sedentary. A trajectory that starts in Charente, crosses the world, and returns — more lucid — the international made simple: on site or remotely.
The starting point — and the studio
Childhood, the Charente river by canoe-kayak, then the subject of the diploma, then the seat of the studio. Three lives in the same town: childhood, studies, professional practice — local and international.
Thirteen years on rue Affre
La Goutte-d'Or as base camp, from 1997 to 2010. Penninghen, La Villette, Chaillot, the agencies, scenography, the palace hotel on rue Saint-Honoré — Paris as a permanent school.
Vietnam, lived
Six years of residence — Hoàn Kiếm in Hanoi, Bình Thạnh in Saigon. Not an expatriate posting: neighbourhood life, an agency to run, a language being learned, a country read from within. And in 2026, 80 days to cross it again from south to north.
The Southeast Asia of villages
Around seventy humanitarian missions: Cao Bằng, Ta Lai, the Tonlé Sap, Battambang, Siem Reap, Melamchi after the earthquake, Yelagiri, Pondicherry. Architecture brought back to the essential — a school, a roof, a centre that holds.
Places passed through
New York, Tehran, Al Ain and Dubai, London, Valencia, Bangkok, Bali, Singapore, Alvar Aalto's Finland, Venice, Milan, Brussels, Cluny… Each stay, short or long, as an exercise in reading.
