1978 — 1992

Charente — the origins

Ten years of canoe-kayak on the Charente at the Ruffec MJC club, instructor in 1988. Self-taught airbrush — helmets, car bodies, logos. 1986, Wednesday open classes at the Angoulême School of Fine Arts. High school in Angoulême. Technological baccalaureate, 1992.

Paris-La Villette — Architecture: studies and agency life

Six years at the Paris-La Villette School of Architecture (UP6/EAPLV): monitor of the computer self-service on Tuesdays, “assistant” in many Parisian agencies, cardboard and 4/10th plywood models, Photoshop, AutoCAD and IT maintenance. Study trip to New York, “The urban fabric”, and Alvar Aalto in Finland. Final thesis project devoted to Ruffec — flood park, restructuring of circulation, cultural centre. DPLG architect diploma on 9 September 2003, with the jury's congratulations: Gérald Gribé, Jean Harari, Brigitte Donnadieu, Philippe Boudon.

Hanoi, Saigon — agency director

After one year in Hanoi as project manager, directing the Saigon office of a French-Vietnamese architecture firm, with a secretary and two draughtsmen. Design, renovation and restructuring: hotels, resorts, urban planning and luxury residential in Vietnam and China — Dujiangyan (Chengdu, land of the Panda), Cam Ranh resort, Van Canh island eco-resort in Halong Bay, riverside urban project in Phu Ly…

Expertise — Humanitarian

Independent practice (YBA / YBAHK — Hong Kong) serving French agencies and direct clients: French luxury brands (Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Champs-Élysées, Galeries Lafayette), aircraft cabin interiors (A330, B747), resorts and hotels. In parallel, around seventy humanitarian missions across Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, India and Nepal — schools, orphanages, community centres, post-earthquake reconstruction.

Charente — AD VITAM

Founding of the AD VITAM architecture studio in Ruffec, the town of origin and of the thesis. Nearly three hundred projects to date, dominated by the transformation of existing buildings in Charente and Nouvelle-Aquitaine — barns, dwellings, gîtes — with a parallel international portfolio (Vietnam, Spain). Summer 2026: an 80-day study trip across Vietnam, from Saigon to Hanoi.
